Created #1935 PPTP over PPPoE crashes 7.2 FreeBSD kernel, fix seems to exist:
I recently tried to get PPTP to work over a PPPoE WAN connection with a pfSense 1.2.3-rc2 snapshot. This resulted in a hard crash on the first data sent through PPTP and reboot (I assume via watchdog).

It seems there is a bug in the FreeBSD 7.2 kernel that can cause an endless loop when two ng devices (here one for PPPoE and one for PPTP) are used and a packet goes through both.

I did not find the kernel sources in CVS, so I do not know whether this has already been fixed for pfSense 1.2.3.
